Curious and feisty, the black-capped chickadee is a dynamic bird whenever it visits feeders, which it does often if black oil sunflower seed is offered. These birds are easily recognized by their black caps and throats, buffy flanks, and gray upper parts.
This is an original acrylic line painting created by Geoff Slater.
It has been painted with one single line that changes colour, but never touches or crosses itself. The canvas is the white in the background. It is framed (in a black wooden floating frame) and ready to hang on the wall, but can easily sit on a shelf as well.
