The downy woodpecker is the smallest woodpecker in North America, easily identified by its black and white plumage. This active little bird is a familiar sight at backyard feeders and in parks and woodlots.
This is an original acrylic line painting created by Geoff Slater.
It has been painted with one single line that changes colour, but never touches or crosses itself. The canvas is the white in the background. It is framed (in a black wooden floating frame) and ready to hang on the wall, but can easily sit on a shelf as well.
