driftwood, recycled cedar fencing, paint
What do you do when you spot a giant piece of driftwood washed up on the shore? If you are Jantje, you drag that thing home, let it dry in the sun, paint some houses and boats on recycled cedar fencing, and fasten it all together to create a BIG, bold work of art.
At 7-1/2 feet by 10 inches by 2 inches, this wonderful folk art piece is the first of a series of really big works by Jantje. It's so big we almost couldn't fit it onto the screen!
